Radon Testing FAQ

What is radon?

Radon is a radioactive gas that occurs naturally when the uranium in soil and rock breaks down. It is invisible, odorless and tasteless.

How long does testing take?

Our professional short-term testing requires the monitor to remain in place for a minimum of 48 hours.

What happens if my results are high?

If results are high, we provide recommendations for mitigation. Most radon issues can be fixed easily by a certified mitigation professional.

Professional-Grade Radon Testing Equipment

We use the Airthings Corentium Pro, a professional continuous radon monitor trusted across North America. This advanced device measures alpha particles released during radon decay and calculates radon concentration levels throughout the test period. That means precise electronic monitoring with dependable reporting.
